It was an awesome day….to Gavi with my family and friends.. The green scenery that splash the most relaxing moments..The Package was so feasible and the food provided was nice.. Enjoyed three day Krishnapuram Kumarakodi -Allapuzha house boat and Golden Island Trip with family and relatives. Organized by KTDCS through Tourfed three day trip was fascinating. We were able to experience the beauty of Punnamada,Vembanad backwaters from the houseboat and taste Kappa, karimeen and variety dishes. Speed boating at Vembanad was a thrilling experience. As arranged by Tourfed we had our Thiruvona sadya at KTDC Aahar kayamkulam. Later we went to Varkala beach. Overnight stay at Vakkom Palazzo hotel and boat ride to Golden Island in the midst of Anchuthengu lake was something to be experienced by any traveler. Hotel staff were courteous and rates affordable. Because of Onam we missed some spots like Krishnapuram palace and Azheekal Light house. We also visited Anchuthengu Fort.

Thanks to meticulous efforts of Tourfed Mktg officer Shyam and our vehicle driver Saran who were always willing to help and remained in touch throughout the journey.

I have enjoyed the above mentioned package offered by KTDCS along with my colleagues. It was really owsome to get the sight of Arabian Sea, Pulimutt, Kayamkulam lake, Uralungal Arch Bridge connecting two districts Alappuzha and Kollam (South Indian largest arch string bridge), Koottumvathukkal light bridge, Tourfed Hygienic Cafe, Azheekal beech, … from the Pentagon Light House.

Visited historical places like Ochira Parabhramha, Krishnapuram Palace, Museum, Cartoonist Sankar’s Art Gallery, Varanappalli Temple, Pallana Kumaranashan Smrithi Mandapam.. Amazing boating experience through Thottapalli – Trikunnapuzha-Arattupuzha-NTPC…

The lunch was so delicious especially Karimeen pollichathu.

The service of KTDCS staff is also appreciated.

I am Gopakumar,from Kerala.I visit Darjiling on 30-7-23 to 1-8-23. It is a wonderful journey, especially the rooms- in Hotel Anutri, room no.407&408(in my memory). The windows are the doorstep to heaven.
